Yesterday’s 5 mile run was my longest since the marathon. That’s 14 weeks. It was great to finally get a run in long enough that I hit a groove; I hit that place where your body is moving along and your mind frees up. It was a good feeling.

I’m not ready to trumpet being fully back in the saddle yet, but I am feeling ready to tackle spring race training, which conveniently begins next week when I get back from our ski trip.
